Bought bright, shiny blue material and gold posterboard to make a few accessories for the show....and I made sure to get enough to make my son, Cameron, a cape, too.....
So, as I've been "practicing" the "Wonder Momma" parody my son has been listening at night, I guess. He keeps asking me to sing it. Here's an excerpt from it:
"Wonder Momma! Children always asking of you--
Give me money! Take me there!
Get gum out of my hair...
Wash my underwear...
All you wants an hour for you!:)"
I have to admit I've always liked the song and remember asking...O.K. maybe begging in college to sing back up for the Kudzu Kings whenever they sang it--but was never allowed to--( perhaps b/c I'd usually had too much to drink).....pretty smart.

What an incredible performance. Take your mom or any of your favorite men or women and you will surely have some tears and a few laughs too. Bring tissues. Holly Rutherford, you are a natural talent and the show touches on so many maternal issues, very well done, BRAVO!
